mindful yoga mini retreat
– supporting & strengthening the core
Saturday 12 April 2025 – 2:00pm-4:30pm
“Just what I needed to recharge, and unlock my very tight shoulders.”
This whole mind and body mini-retreat brings our attention to the centre of the body, particularly the deep muscles that support the spine and the pelvis.
Traditional ‘core’ work often works on a superficial level that only serves to tighten and even exacerbate pain and tension. So here, we’ll take a deep dive to explore how we can balance and strengthen our centre to improve our posture, movement and alignment to reduce wear and tear on all parts of the body and to cultivate lifelong healthy joints and muscles.
As always, the somatics and yoga will be interwoven with some still meditation and mindfulness practices- all wrapped up in a warm and welcoming package, making for a fun and enlivening afternoon.
